Rochester Club West @ Bohn's at 5256 Clinton Street Road, Batavia, New York.

Haven't eaten here since management changed and it probably should've stayed that way. Ordered the surf and turf for two and got four mushy shrimps, overcooked lobster tail and the fattiest prime rib I've ever laid eyes on. Butter was cold, the itty bitty candle under the butter dish was too far away from it and didn't warm it at all. They only have three crappy choices of homemade salad dressing and the lettuce mix comes out basically in whole leaves, with a bunch of chunky onion slices and one quarter slice of an unripe tomato. I liked that they serve a local pop called "the fizz" or something like that, rather than Pepsi or coke products, but that didn't even taste great and we were told there's only one free refill allowed. Had the waitress box up our leftovers (prime rib fat with a little meat) and all we got back was the little meat portion; we were bringing it home for the dogs so SOMEONE could at least enjoy some of it, but didn't even get to do that. Told the manager how disappointed we were with the meat and she repeatedly explained how prime rib is the fattiest cut of meat (as if we've never eaten it elsewhere before) and also told us we should've said something when she asked how everything was earlier while we were eating (when we hadn't even touched the meat yet). I'll give it another shot with the pity gift certificate she sent us home with, but only because we've been waiting for a restaurant to come around that allows dogs to dine with family.
